What I do

I study the phenotypic effects of genetic changes to infer mechanisms of adaptive evolution in natural populations. Ultimately, my interests are in using simple behavioural systems to explore what the phenotypic effects of protein divergence can tell us about the selective forces that cause adaptive evolution.
