Not only "my publications", but any list of publications in general, should be able to be sorted by publication date.

Moreover, one should be able to group using publication date, say, "by decades", "by years", or even "by quarters".

I agree. And it seems like it should be straight-forward, as we already have "Recent" and "Unread", which are really just two sorting cases: by post date, by priority. Generalising this might also make it easier to provide other sorting abilities later (e.g. the date I marked the article as "read").

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
