Topic: Feature requests

making yourself the author of all articles in your library that contain your name as author

sorry for the involved thread title ;-)

i hope my idea is clear anyway: if you specify your real name in your profile, it would be nice if this information could be used to automatically identify all your own publications in your library -- there may be many, so checking the little box for each of them is exhausting.

an alternative would be to allow users to make themselves authors of all articles with a given tag.

cheers,

sascha

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
