RESTful API access to CiteULike

Hi there,

It would be real cool if there were RESTful API access to CiteUlike similar to that of del.icio.us and Flickr. Or RSS feeds or something ... that way I could pull cool content out of citeulike and display it in my local cite, with links back to citeUlike.

If citeulike used openid or something similar then we could make some really interesting mashups ...

RSS feeds are already there for your library. It's just that the button is hidden at the bottom of the page. API is something we have been talking about for a while, so thanks for the reminder.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
